What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of experience developing software in a production environment at scale, Full-stack experience building user-facing applications and backend services, Proven experience with Ruby on Rails or comparable full-stack frameworks, Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript or similar tools, Deep understanding of architectural patterns for large-scale web applications, including maintainability, performance, and reliability, Ability to lead complex projects, influence technical direction, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners, A commitment to maintainable, well-tested code and a high bar for engineering quality
Nice to Have
Experience working with AI/ML-powered systems, especially models or workflows that support chat, voice, or other conversational experiences, A curiosity for ambiguous, high-impact problems and a desire to improve both member experience and internal team efficiency through thoughtful product and technical decisions, Desire to drive engineering culture within your immediate team, as well as within the larger organization
