5+ years of experience and a solid understanding of Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, Redis, Deep experience with databases and data structures (MySQL or Postgres), Experience in Unit/Integration testing, Experience with ReactJS, Webpack, jQuery/JavaScript/HTML, Experience of participating in code reviews, architectural planning, and delivery meetings, Fast learning ability, Amazing written and verbal communication skills, Focus on application security and understanding the importance of protecting sensitive user data
Nice to Have
Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer engineering or equivalent training/experience, Experience with compliance standards, e. g. ISO 27001 or SOC 2, Experience building apps in a cloud environment (i. e. Docker/Kubernetes), Exp deploying to cloud Infrastructure: AWS (various services), familiarity with Terraform, Experience with Rust, Work exp with DevOps tools such as Docker, Github, CircleCI, Monitoring and logging tools experience, like New Relic, Dynatrace, Sumo Logic, Splunk, Familiarity with Open API specification
