In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand in your technical skillset, working alongside a world-class team of civil engineers on major regional infrastructure projects. **What You 'll Be Doing:** * Lead the design and development of roadway projects, including concept, preliminary and final design. * Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications. * Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. * Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met. * Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and address any issues that arise. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff. * Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including AASHTO, FHWA, and state DOT requirements. * Assist in the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports. * Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project reviews. **What Required Skills/Qualifications You 'll Bring:** * Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) * 8+ years of relevant civil road/highway design experience * Professional Engineer (PE) registration * DOT project experience * Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D * OpenRoads Designer experience/proficiency is preferred * Strong communication and interpe
