What They're Looking For.
Must Have
High school or equivalent diploma, NVQ Level 3/ SVQ Level 3/ IVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3/EAL Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, 4 years UK certified apprenticeship, Work flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays, Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, Experience in electrical and electronic principles, Experience in preventative maintenance procedures, Experience in blueprint and schematic reading, Experience in industrial electrical, Experience in industrial controls, Experience in industrial electronics, Experience in Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs, Experience in National Electrical Code (NEC), Experience in work order management, Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks
Nice to Have
Associate's degree in Mechatronics or related technical field, Experience in vendor management, Experience with robotic maintenance, Experience leading engineering teams as mentor or tech lead, Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with OEM requirements
What You'll Do.
Demonstrate best practice using equipment safely
Monitor teams to ensure correct processes
Keep track of equipment performance
Schedule additional servicing when required
Supervise technicians on shift
Act as first point of contact for Reliability
Solve issues in equipment to reduce downtime
Support finding ways to continually improve systems
Standardise processes across EU network
Lead a team to ensure equipment needs
Ensure equipment is running properly
Monitor processes so regulations and policies are followed
Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out
Suggest improvements to make systems more efficient
Implement improvements across EU-wide function
Monitor processes with tools like Scada
Work closely with line manager to assist with
