What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, 10+ years experience in embedded and firmware systems design and product development, Proficiency in C/C++ with Data Structures and Algorithms for embedded systems, Expertise in RTOS, embedded Linux, microcontrollers, microprocessors, Embedded PCs, communication protocols, and debugging with JTAG, Familiarity with wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRa) and IoT frameworks, Experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, PIC, AVR) and development tools (e.g., GCC, Keil, IAR), Familiarity with device drivers, and low-level hardware programming, Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART), Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debugging tools, Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and DevOps
Nice to Have
Prior experience with CI/CD for embedded, Prior exposure to FPGA programming, Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink for modelling and simulation, Experience in research or experimental prototyping
