We are seeking collaborative, relentless problem solvers that share our passion for defining the future of genetic medicines together. THE ROLE The Senior Research Associate will be part of the Platform Group at Mirai and will support laboratory research activities towards development of novel technologies enabling next generation genomic medicines. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the technical and equipment needs in a lab as well as significant hands-on experience with standard and cell culturing and in vitro cell biology techniques. They will work independently and as part of a collaborative team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Independently perform experiments related to in vivo and in vitro LNP using lab techniques that include flow cytometry, mammalian cell culture, mouse and NHP sample processing, cell isolation, ELISAs, plate-based reporter assays, cell killing assays, transfection, and protein binding assays Develop new in vitro bio-assays or optimize existing ones based on in-depth knowledge of laboratory techniques Analyze and accurately document assay results in an electronic lab notebook or other technical reporting formats PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS M. S. or B. S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or relat
