What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Served full Engineering indentured Apprenticeship, Qualified to NVQ Level 3, Relevant technical leadership experience, Relevant electrical and mechanical experience, Relevant automation experience, Relevant material handling equipment experience, Advanced English proficiency
Nice to Have
Experience multi-contractor environment, Experience multi-site environment, Understanding PLC based controls, Understanding statutory compliance requirements, Experience using CMMS, Degree in technical discipline, Degree in operations, Degree in business administration
What You'll Do.
Demonstrate best practice using equipment safely
Monitor teams for process adherence
Keep track of equipment performance
Schedule additional servicing when required
Supervise technicians on shift
Support technician development
Act as first point of contact
Solve equipment issues
Reduce operational downtime
Support finding ways to improve systems
Standardise processes across EU network
Lead team to ensure equipment readiness
Monitor processes for regulation adherence
Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out
Suggest system improvements
Implement system improvements
Monitor processes with Scada
Work with line manager
Assist with admin tasks
