What You'll Do.
Detail rebar from contractor drawings
Train junior level Detailers
Investigate new technologies
Determine design requirements
Generate accurate placement drawings
Facilitate project between Contractor
Maintain comparison of detailed weights vs. estimated amounts
Report discrepancies to department manager
Communicate with customer and fabrication manager
Communicate with customer and/or designer
Maintain and update project status
Train entry level Detailers
Gather project details from customer
Schedule with rebar shop
Provide oversight in reviewing plans
Draw out how rebar should be bent
Draw out how rebar should be cut
Draw out how rebar should be sized
