10 years’ experience, 3+ years within the transport infrastructure industry, Multidisciplinary railway projects experience, Experience with construction contract commercial documents, Experience with construction contract drawings, Experience with construction contract specifications, Experience delivering technically complex infrastructure projects, Experience delivering high value infrastructure projects, Experience working in a consultancy environment, Experience working with a client organisation, Experience working with a contractor organisation, Knowledge of cost management principles, Knowledge of cost management methods, Knowledge of cost management techniques, Knowledge of cost management tools, Knowledge of standard method of measurement, Knowledge of policy and procedure implementation, C Eng / BEng / BA / BSc cost management, C Eng / BEng / BA / BSc quantity surveying, C Eng / BEng / BA / BSc estimating management, C Eng / BEng / BA / BSc in a related discipline

Manage intermediate quantity surveyors
Ensure effective cost estimation
Ensure effective control of spend
Ensure payments are compliant
Monitor anticipated final project costs
Provide cost management advice
Provide cost advice to Claims team
Provide cost advice to Contract Management team
Provide cost advice to Project Management team
Achieve project budgetary goals
Assess on site materials
Assess off site materials
Assess monthly payment certificates
Assess package final accounts
Make recommendations for monthly payments
Make recommendations for final accounts
Undertake measurement of designs
Undertake measurement of on-site works
Review measurement of designs
