What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years quality inspection, Aerospace manufacturing experience, Expert proficiency with precision hand tools, Ability to perform thorough inspections, Strict compliance with quality standards, Clear and effective communicator, Hands-on experience with MRB processes, Ability to stand for extended periods, Ability to climb ladders, Work in confined spaces, Lift up to 25 lbs
Nice to Have
Prior experience inspecting COPVs, Prior experience inspecting avionics hardware, Experience inspecting electrical connectors, Experience inspecting harnesses, Experience inspecting integrated assemblies, Ability to take initiative, Lead projects, Influence quality improvement efforts, Highly organized, Bring structure to ambiguous environments, Airframe and Powerplant certification
What You'll Do.
Conduct inspections on propulsion components
Conduct inspections on large structures
Conduct inspections on mechanical assemblies
Perform dimensional inspections on flight hardware
Identify opportunities for process improvements
Contribute to quality initiatives development
Contribute to quality initiatives implementation
Review hardware requirements
Determine pass/fail status
Document non-conformances
Take closeout photos of assemblies
Perform FOD inspections on machined parts
Perform FOD inspections on assembly cavities
