What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years of professional experience in QA Automation Engineering, Proven experience leading and owning automation initiatives in technology or SaaS environments, Proven experience in end-to-end test automation, Experience building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks, Advanced experience with Playwright (or similar frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium), Proficiency in JavaScript, Experience with BDD / Gherkin syntax and implementation, Experience designing automation frameworks from scratch, Solid understanding of API testing and end-to-end testing practices, Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e. g. , GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), Knowledge of QA automation best practices, including test design, framework maintainability, scalability, and driving architectural decisions for automation frameworks and tooling, Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools (e. g. , Claude, Cursor, Augment, or similar)
Nice to Have
Experience with performance or load testing, Experience working in complex or high-scale product environments, Background in the travel, hospitality, or experiences industry
