What They're Looking For.
Must Have
backend Python development experience, production-grade software, Python deployment best practices, virtual environments, dependency management, containerization, orchestrating Python-based applications, backend APIs, microservice architectures, AWS services, EC2, S3, CI/CD best practices, automated deployment pipelines, problem-solving skills, troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues, performance bottlenecks, bugs, communication skills, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience), 6 years of professional experience as a backend Python Developer in production environments, Proficiency in Python, cloud services (preferably AWS), CI/CD practices, Kubernetes or similar container orchestration tools, agile development teams
Nice to Have
integrating and working with Machine Learning technologies, transformers, vector databases, data pipeline tools such as Meltano, Airbyte, or similar platforms, Exposure to Machine Learning projects or data engineering pipelines, databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), cloud infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes), data pipeline technologies (Meltano, Airbyte)
