Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, 5+ years of experience working as a Lead Engineer, Project Engineer, or Project Manager in the utility-scale solar or BESS industry, experience producing electrical design packages for utility-scale PV and BESS projects, Expert-level proficiency with AutoCAD and drafting of electrical plans, site plans, and construction details, Deep understanding of PV and BESS balance-of-plant systems and monitoring infrastructure, knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and relevant industry codes and standards, Experience managing RFIs, progress tracking, and engineering resource planning, client-facing communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly, 2+ years of experience mentoring or leading engineers and designers
Nice to Have
Familiarity with power study tools such as ETAP, AmpCalc, SKM, or CYMCAP, NABCEP certification, EIT, or Professional Engineer (PE) license

Technically lead utility-scale PV and BESS projects

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys owning project design, collaborating directly with clients, and leading engineering teams through the development of high-quality Issue for Construction (IFC) design packages.
