To strengthen our Global Materials Management Department, we are looking for a Senior Purchaser who can take ownership of critical supplier groups and drive real impact. The role As Senior Purchaser, you are responsible for a significant part of our global supply chain (± €10M spend across ~20–25 suppliers). This is not a traditional purchasing role. You act as the owner of your supplier portfolio, balancing cost, availability, quality and risk across an international network. You combine strategic sourcing with hands-on execution and are expected to set priorities, make decisions and drive improvements - not wait for direction. You operate in a global context (with a strong footprint in Asia and growing demand from the US) and work closely with internal stakeholders across Engineering, Production, Logistics and R&D. You will report to the Global Material Manager. In this role, you will: * Take ownership of key global supplier groups and manage performance end-to-end * Develop and execute sourcing strategies for critical components and commodities * Lead supplier negotiations and manage contracts with a strong commercial mindset * Actively manage supply chain risks (e.g. geopolitical, capacity, lead times) * Improve supplier performance on cost, quality, delivery and reliability * Identify and realize structural cost savings — beyond short-term deals * Optimize lead times and ensure continuity of supply (no stock-outs) * Visit and develop suppliers internationally (mainly Europe and Asia) * Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement with production needs * Bring s
