What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8+ years experience in the Indian digital tech policy space with regulatory and/or political engagement expertise
Nice to Have
Deep knowledge of online safety and AI policies and prior experience of engaging with lawmakers and regulators on these issues, Solid experience in producing briefing docs, consultation responses and white papers, Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, Exceptional written and oral communications skills with a talent for turning complex issues into ones that a busy layperson understands easily, Ability to partner and collaborate across teams in a multinational organization, Strategic and entrepreneurial self-starter, Integrity-driven, collaborative team player, Results-driven and detail-oriented, industry and policy stakeholder networks
What You'll Do.
Deliver a public policy and government affairs strategy for India
Represent LinkedIn externally to Indian policymakers and other key external stakeholders
Build positive relationships with key influencers
Actively monitor relevant policy and regulatory proposals in India
Formulate strategies to help shape outcomes
Work with industry partners
and other policy influencers to promote and build support for LinkedIn
Prepare and deliver executive communications about policy developments and engagement plans
and effectiveness in achieving global public policy and government affairs goals
Engage proactively with policy makers and influencers to highlight LinkedIn’s impact on the Indian economy and its vision of its Economic Graph
