What You'll Achieve.
Success and delivery of the project within the agreed time, scope, and budget; Ensure platform remains unmatched in terms of functionality, scalability and performance
Industry & Context.
Resolve issues that affect scope, schedule, budget and quality of the projects; Solve challenging problems in the realms of low-latency programming, FPGA technology, hardware acceleration and machine learning
CVs in English and French required, Fluency in English required for interaction with international team members and creation of English documents
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
At least 4 to 5 years of experience in a Project Management role, Highly organized with excellent time management skills, Ability to manage competing priorities, Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, Fluency in English is required
Nice to Have
Project management certification like PMP or Prince, Possess a highly analytical and strategic mindset with a ability to influence senior stakeholders, Networking skills within the industry and ability to build relationships with key contacts, Knowledge of Infrastructure (server, storage platforms) and Networking concepts, AWS/Azure or other cloud platforms, Server and Linux skills, Knowledge about financial and/or crypto markets, Knowledge of Data Center/ Colocation design, buildout, migration, Knowledge of C++, Java, git/gerrit, Experience with databases, Kibana and ElasticSearch, Knowledge of a scripting language (Shell or Python)
What You'll Do.
Managing the scope of software & infrastructure-driven projects (Full Project Lifecycle)
Liaising between all technology and non-technology departments for project success and delivery within agreed time
Generating and maintaining accurate project documentation (spreadsheets
and process maps) and project plans
Managing overall technical project schedules by developing and tracking project objectives
dependencies and resolving issues that affect scope
budget and quality of the projects
Engaging in internal and external meetings to gather project requirements and preparing detailed summaries to share with engineering
Coordinating and controlling the execution of other support groups' tasks during release activities including release reviews
pre-deployment meetings
and checklist reviews
Leading and coordinating the Go-Live activities
Participating in project
and program retrospectives as well as providing detail on inefficiencies
and proposed improvements
Planning and coordinating activities for physical work in a data center (physical hardware and network installations)
