What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Mechanics, minimum 5–7 years of relevant engineering experience, rotating machinery, compressors, turbomachinery, HVAC/R systems, lead complex engineering projects from concept validation through commercialization, lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts, engineering knowledge, data-driven decision-making, collaborate effectively across multiple cross‑functional teams and global partners, technical problem-solving, root-cause analysis, structured engineering methodologies, GD&T, mechanical design fundamentals, coordinating testing, validation, product qualification activities, communication skills
Nice to Have
8+ years of experience in compressor development, turbomachinery, HVAC/R product engineering, compressor testing, performance mapping, root-cause analysis tools such as 8‑D, leading global product development programs, Lean methodologies, Lean product development, continuous improvement practices, HVAC Systems Awareness, integrate compressor with power electronics, system controls
