To support this mission, Syngenta’s Crop Protection is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Pune/Hyderabad/Goa. Lead and deliver portions of Syngenta's capital investment program. This involves ensuring timely implementation of new or improved assets, aligning with business requirements and adhering to budget, safety, and quality standards. Provide expert technical and project management guidance to team members. Collaborate with stakeholders to utilize fit-for-purpose engineering solutions meeting Syngenta's HSE and business needs. Accountabilities: * Project Lifecycle Ownership : Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to startup, for small to medium-sized projects or portfolios. This includes navigating ambiguity in early project phases and defining scope. * Scope Definition & Trade-off Management: Translate business needs into project options, manage trade-offs, and select the best solution considering technology, operations, and business requirements. * Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, local legislation, and Syngenta's safety procedures (including risk assessments). * Budget & Schedule Management: Estimate, monitor, and control project costs and timelines to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
