What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum five years of mechanical design engineering experience, Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar area of study, Proficiency in Pro/E software for design and drafting required, Proven leader of people with self-starting skills, Ability to work in fast paced, Multi-tasking abilities required, Well organized, detail oriented, team player capable of working in a deadline dictated environment, Ability to adequately represent and reflect company philosophy, Proficient in preparation of reports and budgets, Proficient in Microsoft Office
What You'll Do.
Manage all engineering functions
Bring product from idea to market
Design and develop instruments and implants
Partner with prototype shop
Perform design verification and validation
Assist in writing regulatory applications
Collaborate with operations department
Participate in product introductions
Maintain post introduction monitoring
Research market and competition
How You'll Work.

Work closely with spine surgeons; Partner with in-house prototype shop; Partner with outside vendors; Partner with marketing and product managers; Collaborate with the operations department; Work with other functions of the company; Work with customers; Work with suppliers; Work with regulatory agencies; Work with industry peers
