We’re seeking a Senior Project Engineer with expertise in civil transportation design to join our team based in San Jose. Hybrid or remote work from our Redwood City or Pleasanton offices may be an option for the right candidate. This role is ideal for a California licensed P.E. with 5+ years of experience who enjoys leading technical delivery, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to impactful horizontal infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver publicly funded roadway, highway, and multimodal corridor projects - helping shape the future of transportation across the region. The position also offers opportunities for professional development and providing technical support throughout all phases of project delivery - from planning and design through construction support. **Responsibilities** * Lead technical design and delivery of transportation projects, including roadway rehabilitation, new alignments, retaining walls, curbs, traffic improvements, curb ramps & ADA compliance, highways, roundabouts, and corridors * Organize project workflows, establish design criteria, and delegate tasks to junior staff * Make decisions on specific project elements and consult with senior leadership on complex issues * Preparation of technical reports, feasibility studies, and environmental documentation to support
