What You'll Achieve.
Ensure execution aligns with cost and revenue expectations; Ensure timely submission of invoices to customers; Maintain accurate cost and schedule baselines
Industry & Context.
Investigate variances; Perform cost analysis; Implement corrective actions; Resolution of unpaid invoices or write-offs
Security clearance may be required, Handle export-controlled material may be required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience, 5-10 years of project cost accounting experience on government contracts with exposure to DCMA and FARS, Knowledge of earned value management and scheduling tools (Cobra)
Nice to Have
Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint ERP Systems and related tools, Direct support of programs with formal Earned Value requirements
What You'll Do.
Support daily execution of engineering development and production programs
Provide financial support to Program Managers and Finance Leadership
Develop and manage project budgets
Maintain accurate revenue recognition
Monitor costs weekly to ensure alignment with budgets
Investigate variances
perform cost analysis using EVM techniques
Prepare and deliver internal and external financial reports
Incorporate contractual changes into control systems
Collaborate with program teams to develop
Support Program Managers with WBS
Serve as a proposal pricing analyst
Contribute to new business opportunities
Prepare financial contract data requirements lists (CDRLs)
Prepare quarterly EAC review data and monthly program review presentations
Oversee project closeout activities
