Must Have
B. S. in an Engineering discipline, Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in oil shale plays and unconventional assets, Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Production Engineer, excellent verbal and written communication skills, willing to travel to site, valid driver’s license, insurability standards in order to drive a company vehicle
Nice to Have
Two (2) years of Permian Basin experience, one (1) year of experience with rod design, nodal analysis, or ESP design programs, Two (2) years of horizontal and multiple stage completion experience, Motivated self-starter capable of performing with minimal supervision
What You'll Do.

designing and implementing initial artificial lift

Create cost estimates and AFEs for new wells

Accrue for capital and expense spend for your area of responsibility
Monitor spend as compared to a target job cost
Monitor artificial lift and production trends
and intervention programs in order to maximize oil recovery
Coordinate with Production Operations to optimize artificial lift and facilities for maximum production
analyze and make recommendations to optimize artificial lift systems

This career site is for external applicants only.** The Production Engineer is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of wells, including constant monitoring of well performance. You will be responsible for maximizing profitability of producing wells by maximizing delivery of wells and minimizing expenses. You will be expected to assess the production capabilities and economic value of the wells assigned to you. You will also be tasked with designing and implementing initial artificial lift, artificial lift repairs, and workovers.
