On-Site Engineer at Travis Air Force Base, Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process, Requires an active U. S. Secret Security Clearance, U. S. Citizenship Required, Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement, Material Review Board (MRB) certification, 5+ years of experience in aerospace systems or structures, 5+ years of experience in Production Engineering and/or Production System Design, 5+ years of experience performing Material Review Board (MRB) product review, 5+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Nice to Have

Experience performing stress analysis, Hands-on experience with materials and manufacturing processes, 5+ years of experience applying knowledge of design principles to assess and resolve product issues through the product lifecycle, 5+ years of experience with developing dispositions for aircraft non-conformances, Currently have an active U. S. “Secret” Security Clearance, Experience interfacing with Operations and Engineering disciplines, as well as being able to work in a team environment or to work independently, Work effectively and cooperatively with internal team members, management, customers, and other cross-departmental teams, Universal Product Review (UPR) Certification

What You'll Do.

Partner with on-site Field Services Representatives

Apply knowledge of Boeing design principles

conduct failure analysis

Develop repair disposition

Develop interim or final engineering solutions

Support activities to identify deviations

Provide written dispositions

Develop customer correspondence

Support Integrated Product Teams

Participate in design reviews

Recommend non-destructive test procedures

Represent engineering community

Design temporary and permanent structural repairs

Conduct static strength analysis

Coordinate with appropriate design groups
