What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement, Material Review Board (MRB) certification, 5+ years of experience in aerospace systems or structures, 5+ years of experience in Production Engineering and/or Production System Design, 5+ years of experience performing Material Review Board (MRB) product review, 5+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Nice to Have
Experience performing stress analysis, Hands-on experience with materials and manufacturing processes, 5+ years of experience applying knowledge of design principles to assess and resolve product issues through the product lifecycle, 5+ years of experience with developing dispositions for aircraft non-conformances, Currently have an active U. S. “Secret” Security Clearance, Experience interfacing with Operations and Engineering disciplines, as well as being able to work in a team environment or to work independently, Work effectively and cooperatively with internal team members, management, customers, and other cross-departmental teams, Universal Product Review (UPR) Certification
What You'll Do.
Assess and resolve product/process issues
Conduct failure analysis
Develop repair disposition
Develop interim or final engineering solutions
Provide written dispositions
Develop customer correspondence
Support Integrated Product Teams
Participate in design reviews
Recommend non-destructive test procedures
Represent engineering community
Design temporary and permanent structural repairs
Conduct static strength analysis
Coordinate with design groups

Partners with on-site Field Services Representatives (FSR’s), Field Service Representatives for Supply (FSR-S’s) and Contractor Field Teams (CFT’s); Work with multiple job functions; Interdisciplinary communication; Peer collaboration; Work with multiple disciplines within engineering, manufacturing, the customer and other organizations; Experience interfacing with Operations and Engineering disciplines; Work in a team environment; Work cooperatively with internal team members, management, customers, and other cross-departmental teams
