7+ years of experience in financial technology, enterprise software, market data, trading infrastructure, or related industries., Experience gathering customer requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions., Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering, operations, commercial teams, and external stakeholders., written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior executives, customers, and industry audiences., analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
Experience in enterprise market data management, financial exchanges, trading platforms, or capital markets technology., Existing relationships across the market data vendor ecosystem are a plus., MBA or advanced degree preferred., Experience supporting product marketing, PR, analyst relations, or conference speaking engagements is highly desirable.
What You'll Do.
Define and maintain strategic product roadmap
Evaluate market trends and competitive offerings
Develop business cases and commercialization strategies
Meet with clients to gather feedback
Serve as advisor to clients
Translate market insights into product direction
Gather requirements for new products
Define business and functional requirements
Partner with software engineering teams
Support product launches
Define product standards and SLAs
Develop customer-facing product documentation
Support marketing and PR initiatives
Engage with PR firms and media
Represent Waypoint at industry events
Research new and emerging technologies
Monitor developments in cloud technologies
Recommend strategic technology investments
Identify and engage third-party vendors
Build and support strategic alliances
Collaborate with external partners

Partner closely with clients, engineering, operations, marketing, and third-party technology providers.; Collaborate closely with customers and internal engineering and operations teams.; Partner with software engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.; Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineering, operations, commercial teams, and external stakeholders.
