What You'll Achieve.
Deliver outcomes across workbook performance, query lifecycle, compute and caching, metadata services, compiler components, agent monitoring, platform observability, and new warehouse connectors; Deliver improvements across latency, concurrency, throughput, and cost efficiency; Drive measurable improvements in latency and throughput; Build the foundation for enterprise-grade reliability visibility; Ensure Sigma's platform surfaces actionable insights; Accelerate and automate operational workflows; Turn live data into interactive applications, analysis, reports, and embedded experiences; Measure impact related to performance, reliability, observability, and customer experience
Industry & Context.
Translate real-world enterprise pain points into platform investments; Translate field feedback into product requirements; Identify platform gaps impacting large customers; Address real-world reliability, latency, and scalability challenges; Proactively surface and address platform risks
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, data platforms, analytics, infrastructure, or developer-facing products, Demonstrated experience owning and delivering a product roadmap end-to-end across technically complex areas, understanding of databases, distributed systems, query engines, caching, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, Proven track record of working directly with enterprise customers to understand needs and translate them into product decisions, Clear, concise communicator who can make complex backend topics understandable to engineering, customers, and executives alike, Ability to connect backend platform investments to tangible customer outcomes and business value, Action-oriented, adaptable, and energized by working in a fast-moving startup environment
Nice to Have
Experience with observability tooling, agent monitoring, or platform diagnostics is a plus
What You'll Do.
Own product roadmap for platform performance and infrastructure
Define vision balancing enterprise needs and scalability
Rally stakeholders around roadmap and communicate progress
Make prioritization calls across platform investments
Define strategy and roadmap for agent monitoring
Own platform observability infrastructure
Partner with engineering on observability improvements
Drive execution and delivery of improvements
Break down complex technical initiatives
Maintain momentum in ambiguous environments
Own delivery accountability end-to-end
Define product requirements across query lifecycle
Balance tradeoffs across performance
Identify bottlenecks in query pipeline
Engage with enterprise customers on performance pain points
Translate field feedback into product requirements
Act as internal advocate for customer needs
Build relationships with key enterprise accounts
Identify platform gaps impacting large customers
and scalability challenges
Surface and address platform risks proactively
Contribute to strategy of new data connectors
Identify integration opportunities
Define and track success metrics
Guide prioritization and iteration with data
Share platform health metrics regularly

Team & Collaboration
Partner closely with platform engineering; Rally engineering, design, and GTM stakeholders; Partner with engineering and Customer Success; Work across teams to address challenges; Partner with engineering on new data connectors

Clear, concise communicator; Make complex backend topics understandable; Communicate progress and tradeoffs clearly to leadership
Process & Methodology
