Full Job Description
At Amazon, we're working to be the most Customer-centric company on earth. One customer experience that we're constantly looking to take to a new level is how we fulfill and deliver orders. The goal of Amazon is to build a world class last mile operation. Amazon aims to exceed the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible. To meet this goal, Amazon is continually striving to innovate and provide best-in-class service levels by pioneering new products and services. Amazon is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead fleet utilization and 3P rental optimization initiatives for our Last Mile delivery network. You will own and drive fleet utilization improvements through structured programs and mechanisms, ensuring Amazon maximizes the value of every vehicle in the network. This means identifying waste in the system, improving upstream and downstream planning and execution, and building accountability mechanisms that drive sustained, measurable results. A critical objective of this role is reducing reliance on 3P paid rentals, which carry a higher cost-per-route than branded vehicles, by ensuring DSPs are fully leveraging their branded vehicle allocations to run routes. The role requires increasing engagement across stakeholders and delivery partners to close utilization gaps and establishing standard operating procedures and compliance tracking across the network. Because of the impact, this is a highly visible role with senior leaders and decision makers in Amazon operations. The role will regularly lead business and planning reviews with senior operations leaders. It is also a highly innovative space requiring the incumbent to use a quantitative and analytical approach balanced by business judgment to determine the fleet utilization strategy. The role requires the leader to span strategic and tactical issues with ease, and obsess on DSP experience. K
