Must Have

7+ years of product management experience, preferably within data platforms or API-driven ecosystems., track record of defining product strategy, translating complex problems into actionable roadmaps, and delivering cross-functional outcomes through collaboration and influence., Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders., Data-driven mindset with analytical skills, including experience using metrics, dashboards, and customer feedback to guide product decisions., Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field

Nice to Have

advanced degree preferred, Experience with modern data technologies such as Spark, Flink, Airflow, Databricks, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), APIs, query engines and programming languages such as Python, SQL., understanding of financial data platforms, industry trends, and alternative data solutions., Knowledge of structured/unstructured data creation, governance, metadata, and data pipeline distribution., Familiarity with compute logic, including aggregation, transformations, date math, symbology, and unit conversion., Understanding of distributed systems, caching, SLA management, entitlement/licensing models, and compliance practices.

Serve as the voice of the customer in cross-functional conversations.

Develop a deep understanding of data lifecycle

Drive product and technical solutions that orchestrate efficient query patterns

materialize data from diverse sources

and enforce access controls.

Leverage catalog metadata to ensure Nexus consistently delivers high-quality data.

Partner with engineering to define and achieve performance targets for data retrieval and distribution.

Ensure Nexus enforces all required entitlements

and contractual obligations.

Proactively identify and manage risks (technical

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Partnering with architects, engineers, and data consumers to define and execute the Nexus roadmap.; In collaboration with architects and engineering, define and communicate product objectives, key results (OKRs), milestones, risks, and critical dependencies for Nexus.; Develop relationships with data consumers across product and engineering teams.; Serve as the voice of the customer in cross-functional conversations.; Partner with engineering to define and achieve performance targets.; Educate and enable product and engineering teams to integrate with Nexus.

Communication Scope

Excellent communication and executive presentation skills; Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
