What They're Looking For.
Must Have
at least seven years building products, understanding of AML, CTF and PEP/Sanctions controls, and how transaction monitoring operates in practice, experience designing and delivering customer-centric and operations-centric products in a digital environment, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify issues, prioritise opportunities and drive decisions, expertise in back-office tools, automation, deflection strategies, and GenAI-driven innovations, excellent communicator who can work effectively across product, engineering, operations, analytics, risk and compliance, comfortable operating in a dynamic and ambiguous environment, and can create clarity where process or structure is still emerging, experience with Agile methodologies and modern product development tools, proven experience working with design teams to create effective user experiences, with a focus on improving both internal user satisfaction and operational efficiency, comfortable working in a fast-moving company where priorities can change and where some processes need to be built from scratch, experience working closely with risk & compliance teams as well as operations teams
Nice to Have
experience in financial crime, AML, transaction monitoring, sanctions, fraud or related risk domains, familiarity with financial services and the regulatory landscape, experience in transaction monitoring, alerting systems, case management, investigations tooling or operational workflow products

work at the intersection of product, operations, data, engineering, risk and compliance; work effectively across product, engineering, operations, analytics, risk and compliance; working alongside experienced product professionals and hand-in-hand with senior developers, data scientists, analysts, operation managers and risk experts; work closely with engineering, design, data science and analytics teams; partner with design; effectively communicate product strategy, roadmap and trade-offs to internal stakeholders including senior leadership, operations, risk and compliance teams, and cross-functional partners; work closely with risk & compliance teams as well as operations teams
