10+ years designing B2B SaaS desktop applications as Staff/Principal Product Designer or similar, Been the only designer, or one of two or three, in companies under 50 people at least once before, Communicate clearly and concise in English: in Slack, in docs and on a call, Fast in Figma with or without AI, Serious relationship with LLMs, Treat engineering feasibility as input, not constraint, Comfortable doing product work without the PM title, Hear feedback and come back the next day with something better

Team & Collaboration
Pair closely with engineers; Work in small teams; Pair closely from first prototype to production; Small temporary teams; Whoever is closest to the problem leads; Design leads logic, engineering tests feasibility; Engineers push back on what's expensive or risky; Engineers start ahead with system design; Engineers help spot edge cases; Adjust design fast; In-sync culture with thoughtful coms mindset; Team mates are reviewing things quick; Engineers and designers spend under two hours weekly meetings
