Senior Product Designer THE DESIGN PHILOSOPHY At Fyxer, design starts with human behaviour — not screens, not components, not flows. We believe the best product decisions come from understanding why people do what they do, and working backwards from there. That's not a principle we put on a wall. It's how we make decisions. WHAT YOU'RE WALKING INTO We're not starting from zero. We have a designer on the team, a visual identity built with Red Antler, and a product that real users depend on every day. What we don't yet have is a senior design voice — someone who is the instinctive first call across the company when a product, experience, or communication decision needs a human-behaviour lens on it. That's this role. You'll report to our Chief Product and Growth Officer and work alongside an existing designer, an early PM hire, and engineers directly. You'll be the most senior design hire we've made — with real influence not just over what gets built, but over how this company thinks about the people it builds for. If you believe that understanding people is the hardest and most important part of design — and that everything else follows from that — this is the role for you. What we care about, in order 01 — HUMAN BEHAVIOUR FIRST You think in motivation, habit, and friction before you think in screens. You understand why people do what they do — and you use that to make product decisions, not just design decisions. 02 — CRAFT AND EXECUTION You ship. You work directly with engineers and move fast without losing the quality that makes a product feel premium. You've used Figma, ShadCN, and Tailwind long enough to know their edges. 03 — AI-NATIVE WORKFLOWS You understand how modern engineers build with AI tools, and you think about design in that context. We care about principles, components, and systems that plug seamlessly into engineering workflows rather than living in static documentation. You're comfortable working close to implementation and helping create exper
