Must Have

5+ years across the full product design lifecycle (research, discovery, design, delivery), Expert capability in lean UX, synthesising what you learn, and prototyping to explore and validate direction, interaction design skills with an understanding of native mobile patterns, platform behaviours, motion and micro‑interactions, Understanding of customer journeys and experience outcomes and can translate customer needs into clear experience improvements across a journey, comfortable navigating ambiguity, weighing trade-offs, and making recommendations backed by evidence, communicator who collaborates well in cross functional environments and builds effective partnerships, working knowledge of business and technology constraints, with a risk-aware mindset, AI literacy and a willingness to adopt new tools responsibly

**Senior Product Designer – ****Everyday Experiences, Native App** Perth based role (no remote applicants) | Full time | Fixed term contract | 50% office attendance **A bit about the role:** At Bankwest, we’re transforming to become Australia’s favourite digital bank, and product design is critical to how we get there. As part of a team that values curiosity, collaboration and bold thinking, you’ll help us shape banking that’s smarter, faster and genuinely useful for our customers in their everyday lives. You’ll sit within the Brand and Experience team in Customer, Marketing and Communications, championing customer‑led design across our digital ecosystem. Working in a cross-functional, highly collaborative group spanning CX strategy, product design, experience design, and accessibility to turn strategy into reality by designing simple, distinctive, customer-led experiences. In this role, you’ll be designing for our Everyday Experiences – a core focus area for the business.
