What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6+ years data center design, 6+ years industrial engineering, Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment, Experience researching new designs, Interpret electric code NEC, NFPA, UL891, UL508, UL1066, UL1558, ANSI C37, IEC codes
Nice to Have
Professional Engineering or Architectural License, Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production, Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents
What You'll Do.
Solicit customer input
Define design requirements
Lead new product design
Develop qualification of critical electrical power distribution equipment
Develop Capex and Opex spending budgets
Specify appropriate electrical equipment and components
Ensure compliance with UL
Validate design through prototype
Conduct DFx and value engineering analysis
Update design and documentation
Test and validate installation
Support manufacturing activities
