Hi there! Thanks for stopping by 👋 We’re looking for a Senior Product Data Analyst to join our Financial Services team in Canada. This role sits at the intersection of Product Analytics, Decision Science, and Product Strategy. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and business leadership to help shape the future of Capital through data-driven decision making. For Capital to succeed, many of our most important product and business decisions depend on balancing complex trade-offs across pricing, conversion, offer volume, losses, and profitability. In many ways, data-driven decision making is the product itself. We’re looking for someone who can operate as a strategic thought partner , not simply answer predefined questions, but help determine: - What problems we should solve, and the right way to design and implement solutions - Defining and measuring success across product, merchant, and business outcomes - Optimizing for both merchant success and business performance, balancing growth, risk, and operational tradeoffs What you’ll be doing: - Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to influence product strategy through deep analytical insights and decision frameworks - Lead ambiguous and high-impact analytical initiatives end-to-end, from problem definition through recommendation and implementation - Build analytical models and frameworks that optimize trade-offs across risk, pricing, conversion, profitability, and customer outcomes - Design and evaluate experiments, including pricing and conversion optimization initiatives - Translate complex business problems into structured analytical approaches and measurable success criteria - Identify product opportunities, operational inefficiencies, and strategic insights through deep analysis of large-scale transactional and product datasets - Deliver executive-level recommendations and influence roadmap decisions using data - Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, and GTM teams
