What You'll Achieve.
help launch new products and services; maintain and upgrade our existing offering in South-East Asia; help the APAC Product team to expand the offering of our product in the SEA; identify and effectively manage regulatory compliance risks across a range of the existing and new products; ensure a compliant launch; ensure that the product remains compliant; help maintain an enterprise-wide view of Wise’s regulatory risk environment; Provide input on regulatory related matters, always representing Wise customer-oriented culture while ensuring compliance; ensuring all necessary initiatives are covered and we can provide adequate support to the Product teams; ensure that the relevant specialist teams (i. e. Financial Crime, Privacy, Treasury, Finance) have provided input into the product lifecycle
Industry & Context.
Identify which regulations will apply to the new products or features and any risks that need to be mitigated as a result of this to ensure a compliant launch; Identify opportunities to improve our product proposition / competitiveness by thoroughly analysing relevant regulations and challenging existing interpretations and market practice; Perform pre-launch and ongoing risk assessments, offering effective advice to Product Managers on existing and forthcoming regulations, gaps and risks

How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
work alongside our APAC Product teams; work closely with the regional Product Managers; support a cross-functional team of Bankers, Engineers, Data Analysts and Operations Specialists; Collaborate with Product Teams throughout the product lifecycle; Collaborate to build practical and customer oriented product solutions; Collaborate with colleagues in the Compliance Oversight team (2LoD); Identify related risk typologies and ensure that the relevant specialist teams (i. e. Financial Crime, Privacy, Treasury, Finance) have provided input into the product lifecycle; Assist Product Teams in developing and maintaining track of relevant risks across their product; Represent Wise in external meetings with e. g. partners, regulators, auditors; Contribute to the creation of quarterly team plans; Contribute to definition, scoping and execution of long term plans and objectives, in coordination with other stakeholders; building relationships with other teams
