Minimum 5-7 years experience in regulatory compliance, Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams, Ability to analyze and interpret complex regulatory frameworks, Experience working across cross border payments, Experience in US and Canadian markets, Data analytics skills used to develop/inform KRIs, Legally authorized to work in the US

What You'll Do.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers
Develop new products and features for North America
Ensure risk assessment considering regulatory compliance risks
Implement and manage bank partner engagement program
Develop key metrics for Consumer Compliance Program
Support closure of regulatory compliance issues
Build new controls or enhance existing ones
Identify ways to improve controls
Reduce unnecessary customer friction
Enable continued growth
Execute quarterly regulatory compliance risk assessment
Present assessment results to Risk Committee
Develop and enhance Key Risk Indicators

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Senior Product Compliance and Risk Manager to support a rapidly expanding product in North America. This role is responsible for ensuring Wise's US and Canada Regulatory Compliance program is best-in-class, meeting all regulatory obligations, effectively managing regulatory compliance risk, and scaling to enable continued growth. The ideal candidate will be an expert in payment/and or cross border payments and possess proven experience in evaluating and implementing applicable controls. This is a unique opportunity to directly impact Wise’s mission, whilst developing your skills in a fast-paced environment. You will cut through complexity to make high-stakes decisions, build momentum across multiple teams, and coach others to deliver exceptional results. Job Responsibilities: * Collaborate with product managers and engineers to develop new products and features for NorthAmerica, and ensure an effective risk assessment considering all regulatory compliance risks are adequately reviewed and assessed prior to launch * Expertise/strong working knowledge with either state money transmission licensing requirements related to Permissible Investments, Regulatory Reporting; Or Consumer Compliance Regulations (e.g. Regulation E, UDAAP, California Consumer Protection Act), Privacy (GLBA), and applicable state privacy and consumer protection regulations. * Fully implement and
