## Accountabilities Translate complex ERP financial and accounting processes into clear, structured, developer-ready product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria across areas such as general ledger, AP/AR, reconciliations, fixed assets, budgeting, and financial reporting. Conduct in-depth discovery and requirements analysis, going beyond initial stakeholder input to uncover underlying financial, operational, and compliance needs. Map end-to-end financial user journeys, ensuring product design reflects real-world accounting workflows and user behavior in live environments. Partner with product managers to shape roadmap priorities and ensure decisions are grounded in practical accounting and audit-ready principles. Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and support teams to ensure accurate implementation, testing coverage, and issue resolution. Identify gaps between existing system behavior and best-practice financial processes, and propose well-evidenced improvements. Serve as a key subject matter expert in ERP Financials, guiding teams on accounting standards, controls, and system implications. Maintain high-quality documentation that ensures clarity, traceability, and alignment across business and technical teams. Requirements: Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent) or equivalent hands-on experience in senior financial accounting roles. Strong background in real-world financial accounting, including month-end close, audit preparation, internal controls, and reconciliation processes. Experience working with ERP or financial systems, with the ability to understand both accounting logic and underlying data structures. Proven ability to translate complex financial processes into clear, structured technical requirements and user stories.
