What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Expert-level SQL skills with experience querying, manipulating and transforming large, complex, and relational datasets into functional pipelines, Experience designing and building automated data pipelines and transformations, product thinking skills with the ability to translate customer needs into defining the right problem statements, success metrics, and opportunity sizing, understanding of statistical concepts that can ideally be leveraged through programming language (e. g. Python or R), Exceptional ability to translate raw data into clear narratives, business insights with the use of BI tooling (Looker/Tableau/Power BI), and actionable product decisions for technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to Have
Prior experience successfully launching a net-new product or product line (greenfield initiative), Prior experience in the B2B space understanding business customers' financial and expense management needs, Familiarity with financial data reconciliation, risk analysis, or regulatory compliance within the FinTech space, Experience designing, launching, and analyzing A tests in a high-volume product environment to drive measurable feature improvements
