What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Engineering Science, Eligible to be registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario, 10-15 years related work experience in mechanical/process system engineering, Experience in manufacture/supply of nuclear and non-nuclear components
Nice to Have
Experience in EPC/project delivery environment, Engineering experience in nuclear industry, Site engineering and implementation experiences

Prepare engineering procurement support deliverables
Perform engineering work related to specification
Perform engineering work related to assessment
Perform engineering work related to manufacturing
Perform engineering work related to supply of mechanical
Provide technical support to stakeholders
Determine cost of equipment and components
Determine quality of equipment and components
Determine availability of equipment and components
Analyze technical requirements
Analyze vendor provided information
Analyze vendor documentation
Identify suitable suppliers
Review Manufacturer’s documentation
Accept Manufacturer’s documentation
Obtain client acceptance of documentation
Prepare Engineering Quotation Request Packages
Review Engineering Quotation Request Packages
Prepare Technical Tender Evaluations
Review Technical Tender Evaluations
Perform complex procurement engineering assignments
Perform design support related assignments
Provide technical guidance to team members
Support employees assigned on a common project
Perform site visits to client facilities
Perform site visits to manufacturer facilities
Perform site visits to new build site
Interface with internal stakeholders
Interface with external stake holders
Support Engineering Management with updates
Coordinate engineering work
Interface with client
Interface with suppliers
