Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Provide cradle-to-grave federal procurement and acquisition support across pre-award and post-award activities, including contracts, services, equipment, and construction. Apply expert knowledge of FAR regulations, federal contracting principles, Executive Orders, and acquisition best practices to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Support policy development by drafting, reviewing, and updating acquisition policies, SOPs, manuals, and governance documents. Contribute to training development and delivery for acquisition personnel, including in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. Assist in workforce development initiatives such as FAC-COR program management, certification tracking, and COR/PM support. Participate in quality assurance reviews, audits, and compliance assessments, including A-123 reviews and corrective action support. Monitor invoice processing, financial oversight, and contract payment compliance while escalating issues when needed. Support federal financial assistance activities including grants, cooperative agreements, and interagency transactions (e.g., G-Invoicing, 7600A/7600B). Advise program offices and stakeholders on procurement regulations, compliance, and acquisition strategy. Contribute to process improvement and standardization initiatives to enhance efficiency across acquisition operations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with coursework in accounting, business, finance, law, economics, contracts, or related disciplines. 8+ years of direct Federal contracting and procurement experience. At least 1 year of experience at the GS-14 equivalent level or above. Strong expertise in FAR, federal acquisition regulations, and cradle-to-grave contracting processes. Experience supporting policy development, acquisition governance, and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
