MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Materials Science, or related fields, 5+ years of experience in Process Integration within a semiconductor fab, Proven track record of leading complex projects in technology development, process optimization, yield improvement, defect reduction, or reliability enhancement with autonomy, Expertise in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Expertise in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Expertise in Design of Experiments (DoE), Hands-on experience using statistical tools such as JMP, Excellent English communication skills

Ideally 300 mm semiconductor fab experience, Prior experience and technical knowledge of photonics process technologies, Prior experience and technical knowledge of Back-End-of-Line (BEOL) processing

We deliver the graphene solution The Role Black Semiconductor is looking for a Senior Process Integration Engineer (f/m/d) to join our Fab team in Aachen, Germany. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding the challenges of semiconductor manufacturing, developing systematic methodologies to address them, and delivering stable, scalable process integration solutions for integrated graphene photonics and high-speed optical chip interconnects You will play a key role in driving our technology towards a robust and stable integration flow by leveraging existing semiconductor manufacturing methods to achieve high performance, reliability, and yield.
