What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Background in the nuclear sector or regulated industries like thermal power generation, oil and gas, Knowledge of steam turbines, condensers, feedwater heaters, pumps, and piping systems, Experience from FEED to detailed design and EPC delivery, Skilled in developing procurement specs and working with suppliers, Excellent skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders, Familiarity with UK Health and Safety regulations, safety systems, and HAZOP, Understanding of ASME, European, and UK standards, Experience or awareness desirable in Systems Engineering

What You'll Do.
Support design of thermal and fluid systems
Provide analysis and calculation support
Generate static and transient flow analyses
Generate thermal analyses
Ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements
Create and review Process Flow Diagrams
Create and review Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
Create and review Layout Drawings
Create and review Component Sizing Calculations
Create and review Specifications
Conduct and review studies and design documents
Develop and review functional requirements
Develop and review design requirements
Integrate Turbine Island design
Serve as expert for Turbine Island interface
Support Design Reviews
Support HAZID studies
Support HAZOP studies
Ensure adherence to H&S Policies
Liaise with safety teams
Support nuclear safety licensing
Support environmental permitting
