Must Have
Deep Amazon Web Services (AWS) expertise, expertise in containerized service infrastructure based on Kubernetes (EKS), Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation, etc. ), Experience building and evolving modern Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (GitHub Actions, etc. ), Experience operating and improving highly available, large-scale production environments, Experience deploying, managing, and monitoring stateless microservices and serverless solutions, Experience defining reusable golden paths, shared services, and platform standards, and driving their adoption across engineering teams, Experience evaluating and integrating AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows to improve developer productivity, software quality, and operational efficiency, Experience influencing technical direction and driving platform adoption across multiple teams or business units, Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, identifying high-impact problems and driving them to resolution, Track record of pragmatic problem solving, engineering judgement, and excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, Ability to balance business outcomes with platform goals and understanding that perfection is often the enemy of progress, Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams
Nice to Have
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Proven track record of diagnosing complex system issues and leading root cause analysis for environment instability, Experience working within and securing regulated environments (e.g. PCI, SOC, GDPR), Experience building and scaling software in at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Java, Typescript), Experience with AI/ML platform patterns or applying LLM-enabled tooling to software engineering workflows (e.g. developer tooling, prompt-driven automation, retrieval-based assistants)
