Bachelor's degree or above in a technical or engineering related field, 7+ years experience in hardware lab management, 7+ years experience with building boards, 7+ years experience debugging hardware issues, 7+ years experience supporting board modifications, Demonstrated leadership abilities, Demonstrated team management abilities, Demonstrated decision-making abilities, Experience using Windows computers, Experience using Linux computers, Experience Setting up 3D Printer, Experience designing using a 3D Printer, U. S. citizen or national, U. S. permanent resident, Lawfully admitted into the U. S. as a refugee, Granted asylum into the U. S.
Nice to Have
Experience Soldering 01002 components, Experience Setting up Post Silicon lab from scratch, Experience managing Post Silicon lab from scratch, Experience with automated test equipment
What You'll Do.
Own the lab and related lab requirements
Ensure safety standards are met
Support Bring-up validation boards
Support debug validation boards
Support board reworks
Manage inventory of secure SOC
Manage inventory of Boards
Manage inventory of lab equipment
Work with vendors for instrument calibration
Work with vendors for instrument repair
Support setting up test benches
Own validation execution
Own secure storage of boards
Own distribution of boards
Own inventory management of boards
Identify required bench top instruments
Purchase required bench top instruments
Ensure periodic calibration on instruments
Ensure periodic repairs on instruments
Drive future expansion needs
Identify existing gaps
Identify future requirements
Design solutions appropriately
Support Post Silicon Engineers with Board modifications
Support Post Silicon Engineers with Board debugs
Support Post Silicon Engineers with Design of Experiment
Support Post Silicon Engineers with remote debugs
Ensure the lab meets safety protocols
Ensure the lab meets compliance
Enforce trainings to reduce lab accidents
Document accidents in the Post Silicon lab
Report accidents in the Post Silicon lab
Assist with Test Bench setups
Assist with Test execution
Assist with data analysis
Lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
