Full Job Description
Amentum is seeking a seasoned tradecraft analyst to serve as a full contributing member of the customer’s Political Influence team in the Dulles, VA area. This position is functional **_analytic role focused on the intersection of foreign influence operations, asymmetric warfare, and political disruption across a shifting global threat landscape_**. This position is **not** regionally aligned. It is **not** a developmental seat, a regional desk seat in disguise, or a position for an analyst seeking to break into the influence portfolio. Candidates whose experience is primarily country-focused, or who require structured ramp-up support, will not be a fit. **Work Schedule:** Full-time, 9AM to 5PM, Mondays – Fridays, 40 hours/week **Essential Responsibilities:** The analyst will follow threats across geographies, identify cross-cutting actor tradecraft, and bring functional depth that complements regional teammates rather than duplicating them. The analyst will: * produce written and oral assessments on foreign influence campaigns, asymmetric and gray-zone activity, and adversary efforts to disrupt political processes and institutional cohesion. * track adversary tradecraft, narratives, and infrastructure across multiple actors and theaters, identifying patterns of convergence and innovation; and * collaborate as a peer with regional analysts, collectors, targets, and partner-agency counterparts, and represent the team in interagency working groups and briefings. **Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):** * Minimum of a B.A. in a relevant field (political science, international affairs, public policy, etc.) * Minimum of five (5) years of analytic experience inside the IC—to include a mastery of IC analytic tradecraft standards. * Demonstrated functional (not regional) expertise across **at least** two of the following topical areas: foreign malign influence operations, asymmetric or gray-zone warfare, political subversion and disruption, election inte
