Full Job Description
## Accountabilities You will own the design, development, and evolution of core networking and edge infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, observable, and highly resilient at scale. This includes building both foundational platform services and the self-service abstractions that enable other teams to operate independently. Design and operate core network infrastructure across DNS, CDN, ingress/egress, load balancing, and service mesh layers Build self-service networking platforms and tooling that enable internal teams to provision and manage network resources independently Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions (e.g., Terraform) to automate provisioning and configuration Define and implement observability standards, including SLIs/SLOs, monitoring, and alerting for network systems Participate in on-call rotations, lead incident response, and drive postmortems and reliability improvements Collaborate cross-functionally with security, product, and platform teams to translate requirements into scalable network solutions Ensure security-by-design principles including least privilege access, encryption in transit, and attack surface reduction Drive architectural improvements across CDN, edge protection, service mesh, and wide-area connectivity systems Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and shared ownership Requirements: The ideal candidate brings strong experience in cloud networking, distributed systems, and platform engineering at scale, with a proven ability to build reliable and secure infrastructure in production environments. You are comfortable operating across the full stack of modern internet infrastructure and thrive in high-autonomy environments. 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud networking, or distributed systems at scale Deep expertise in internet and web infrastructure (DNS, CDN, WAF, load balancing, ingress, service mesh) Strong programming experience in Go or
