ROLE OVERVIEW Working within Chartis’ Data Platform & Infrastructure team, the Senior Platform Engineer is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for building, scaling, and operating the Azure infrastructure that underpins Chartis’ platforms. This role sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, platform reliability, and delivery execution, with a mandate to enable reliable, scalable, and self-service data consumption across consulting engagements, internal analytics, and productized offerings - primarily through Terraform-managed Azure environments. You will design, deploy, and maintain core Azure infrastructure using Terraform, supporting modern data pipelines, search infrastructure, and foundational platform capabilities built on Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, dbt, and Python. You should be deeply comfortable operating in an infrastructure-as-code environment and able to independently own Terraform modules and pipelines end-to-end.
