Job Title: Senior PL/SQL Developer Location: Menlo Park, CA (3-4 days onsite minimum) Contract Job Summary: Years of Experience: 8+ – 12 years. Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PL/SQL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL performance tuning. The ideal candidate will work closely with DBAs and application developers to optimize queries, resolve production issues, and ensure efficient database performance in a high availability environment. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL and PL/SQL programs within Oracle environments * Perform advanced query optimization and performance tuning for large scale database systems * Collaborate with production DBAs to troubleshoot and resolve application related database issues * Work closely with application development teams to review, write, and suggest optimized SQL queries and stored procedures * Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements * Ensure high standards of data integrity, performance, and scalability * Support production systems with timely issue resolution and root cause analysis ## Qualifications Required Skills & Experience * Strong expertise in Oracle database concepts, architecture, and tools * Advanced proficiency in: * SQL * PL/SQL development * Query optimization and performance tuning * Experience working in production support environments in collaboration with DBAs * Ability to analyze and optimize complex queries and data structures * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Skills * Experience in high volume or enterprise scale database systems * Familiarity with database monitoring and performance tools * Understanding of application database interaction patterns ## Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
