What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8–10 years of strong, hands-on expertise in Micro Focus / OpenText LoadRunner, Overall 7-9 years of experience in Testing, 5-6 years of experience in Performance / Non-Functional Testing, hands-on expertise with LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis), Experience testing Web/HTTP, REST, and SOAP applications, scripting skills in C and JavaScript, Experience with performance engineering concepts and best practices, Experience with Dynatrace or similar APM, understanding of JVM concepts, garbage collection, and databases (SQL, pooling, latency), Good knowledge of Linux / Unix commands and networking fundamentals, Experience testing applications hosted on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git) and pipeline integration
Nice to Have
JMeter exposure is a plus, Experience in BFSI, Retail, E‑commerce, or Telecom domains is an added advantage, Experience with performance testing of high‑transaction, mission‑critical systems is a plus
What You'll Do.
Lead end-to-end performance testing lifecycle
Design and execute Load
Develop and enhance scripts using LoadRunner VuGen
Define performance test strategy
Execute tests using Controller and Load Generators
Perform in-depth performance analysis using LoadRunner Analysis
Identify performance bottlenecks
Prepare detailed performance test reports
Provide go / no-go recommendations
Integrate LoadRunner tests with monitoring tools
Correlate test results with server-side metrics
Participate in root cause analysis and performance tuning discussions
Work closely with development
Mentor junior performance testers
Participate in design and architecture reviews
Support production performance issues and tuning initiatives
