What They're Looking For.
Must Have
8–10 years of strong, hands-on expertise in Micro Focus / OpenText LoadRunner, Overall 7-9 years of experience in Testing, 5-6 years of experience in Performance / Non-Functional Testing, hands-on expertise with LoadRunner (VuGen, Controller, Analysis), Experience testing Web/HTTP, REST, and SOAP applications, scripting skills in C and JavaScript, Experience with performance engineering concepts and best practices, Experience with Dynatrace or similar APM, understanding of JVM concepts, garbage collection, and databases (SQL, pooling, latency), Good knowledge of Linux / Unix commands and networking fundamentals, Experience testing applications hosted on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git) and pipeline integration
Nice to Have
JMeter exposure is a plus, Experience in BFSI, Retail, E‑commerce, or Telecom domains is an added advantage, Experience with performance testing of high‑transaction, mission‑critical systems is a plus

**Who we are looking for** We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Performance Testing Engineer with 8–10 years of strong, hands-on expertise in Micro Focus / OpenText LoadRunner. This role sits within the System Performance Testing function and requires a senior individual contributor who can independently lead end-to-end performance testing activities across complex, enterprise-scale applications, while collaborating closely with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to ensure system scalability, stability, and reliability. **Why this role is important to us** Ensuring that enterprise platforms meet performance, scalability, reliability, and stability expectations ahead of releases and client onboarding is critical. Rigorous system performance testing enables reduced delivery risk, predictable releases, and consistent client experience across applications, infrastructure, and partner ecosystems. **What you will be responsible for** Performance Testing & Engineering * Lead end-to-end performance testing lifecycle including requirements analysis, workload modelling, scripting, execution, monitoring, and reporting. * Design and execute Load, Stress, Endurance, Spike, and Volume tests using LoadRunner. * Develop and enhance scripts using LoadRunner VuGen with strong expertise in correlation, parameterisation, checkpoints, and rendezvous points. * Define performance test strategy, test plans, and success criteria for complex applications. * Execute tests using Controller and Load Generators across distributed environments. Analysis & Reporting * Perform in-depth performance analysis using LoadRunner Analysis. * Identify performance bottlenecks across application, database, middleware, and infrastructure layers. * Prepare detailed performance test reports, dashboards, and recommendations. * Provide go / no-go recommendations based on performance outcomes.
